Unlike standard pet minding, Nanna Jen brings a holistic, intuitive and trauma-aware approach to every visit. Pets are nurtured in the environment they know best — their own home — helping reduce stress, maintain routines and keep them happy, settled and calm.
With over 40 years of animal experience, retired nursing insight and holistic training in Reiki, calming touch and enrichment, each visit supports not only physical needs, but emotional wellbeing, nervous system balance and trust-building.
How Holistic Pet Sitting Works
Meet & Greet
A relaxed visit before booking to understand your pet’s personality, routine and comfort needs.
This approach builds trust and helps your pet feel safe from day one.
Booking, Form & Agreement
Once dates are confirmed, the Client Pack is completed and the Terms and Conditions are agreed to in writing. A 25% deposit is required within 7 days of booking to secure your dates, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the booking begins.
Service Delivery
Gentle, heart-centered care is provided at the agreed times and dates, including companionship, enrichment, Reiki or calming touch (if suited), and updates twice daily — morning and evening —so owners stay reassured and connected.
Service Completion
A warm summary is provided at the end of the booking, sharing insights into the pet’s wellbeing, mood, and highlights. Homes are left tidy and tranquil, and every pet calm, happy, and nurtured.

with my adored fur babies. Particularly with
a geriatric greyhound, it’s always a big ask.
But Jen was so professional and experienced
she put me completely at ease.
The dogs warmed to her instantly and
I had complete confidence they were in good hands.
She sent me photos and updates on my
precious hounds daily and even left a gift
for us when she left and left the house immaculate.
I would recommend Jen to anyone who loves
their fur babies and is reluctant to leave them
