Welcome to Nanna Jen’s Services — an independent, sole-operator business providing holistic pet care, in your home minding, and wedding pet chaperone services.
By booking or using these services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These terms are designed to ensure professional, safe, and reliable care for all pets — including holistic in-home care, wellness programs, and wedding pet chaperone services — while protecting the interests of both clients and Nanna Jen’s Services.
If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from booking.
Services
Nanna Jen’s Services provides professional and compassionate care, including:

In-home holistic pet care, including feeding, overnight stays, and holistic therapies such as Reiki and massage tailored to each pet’s needs.

Wedding Pet Chaperone Services, including safe transport, supervision, and care for pets during ceremonies, photos, and receptions — ensuring they remain calm, comfortable, and included.

Coming Soon: Reiki, Sage & Massage Programs, offering gentle energy-balancing and relaxation therapies to support your pet’s emotional and physical wellbeing.
All services are delivered personally by Nanna Jen, ensuring a consistent, caring, and trusted approach to every booking.
Bookings & Payment

A 25% deposit is required within 7 days to secure any booking, including wedding and holistic programs.

Full payment is due 7 days before services commence.

An invoice will outline payment details and deadlines.

Prices are subject to change; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the quoted rate.

If more than one meet-and-greet is required, additional sessions are charged at $60 per hour.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best care for every pet, clients must:

Provide accurate, up-to-date details on health, behavior, diet, and special needs.

Maintain a safe, secure, and hygienic environment, including access to hot water, shower, toilet, bed, and fridge/freezer space.

Ensure the home or venue is suitable prior to booking. Nanna Jen’s Services reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

Pay a cleaning fee of $60/hour if additional cleaning is required to create a safe environment (payable within 24 hours).

Provide emergency contacts, including a veterinarian.

Ensure all medications are clearly labelled with instructions.

Supply a daily routine, including feeding, exercise, and sleep schedules.

Maintain a clean, tidy environment throughout the booking.

For wedding services, provide event timelines, venue details, and any special pet requirements.

If Nanna Jen refers you to any external service prior to a booking, you agree to provide proof of attendance and a summary of outcomes before the booking takes place. This ensures continuity of care, accurate information, and the best outcomes for your pet’s wellbeing.
Health & Emergency Care
Your pet’s health and wellbeing are the top priority.
In the event of illness or emergency:

The client or nominated contact will be notified immediately.

Veterinary care will be sought as needed, with all costs borne by the client.

For weddings, contingency plans are in place to keep pets calm and safe at all times.

For Reiki, Sage & Massage sessions, if a pet shows discomfort or distress, the session may be paused or ended for their wellbeing.
Reiki, Sage & Massage Programs – Terms of Use
These holistic programs are intended to promote relaxation and energetic balance. They are complementary to veterinary care, not a substitute for it.
By booking, clients acknowledge and agree that:

Services are non-diagnostic and do not replace veterinary advice, treatment, or medication.

Results vary; no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

All medical or behavioural conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.

If a pet is unwell, injured, or under veterinary treatment, approval from a veterinarian is recommended before scheduling.

Sessions may include energy work, light touch (or non-contact if preferred), massage and calming sage or aromatherapy.

The pet’s comfort and safety always come first.

Sessions will be adjusted or ended if stress is observed.
Liability
While every care is taken, Nanna Jen’s Services cannot be held liable for:

Illness, injury, or loss occurring despite reasonable care

Pre-existing health or behavioural conditions

Damage to property caused by pets

Mild reactions to holistic therapies (e.g., temporary lethargy or emotional release)
All pets are cared for with love, respect, and professionalism.
Ultimate responsibility remains with the owner.
Privacy
All personal and pet information — including contact details, booking history, and wellness notes — is kept strictly confidential and never shared without consent, except where required by law.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Nanna Jen’s Services and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without written permission.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the service start date:
Deposit will be transferred as a credit toward a future booking.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the service start date:
All payments, including the deposit, are non-refundable.
Early returns or plan changes once services commence:
No refunds or credits apply once care has begun.
Wedding Pet Chaperone Services:
Cancellations within 14 days of the event result in forfeiture of the deposit due to preparation and scheduling time.
Reiki, Sage & Massage Programs:
Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session incur the full session fee.
Deposits:
Deposits secure your booking and are non-refundable once paid, in line with Australian Consumer Law ensuring fair, transparent practice.
Refund Exceptions:
In the heartbreaking event that your beloved pet
passes away before the booking, a full refund will be offered
with sincere condolences.
Please provide a brief confirmation from your veterinarian so the
refund can be processed respectfully and promptly.
